Weymouth sea front and Fireworks

After a very soggy start to Monday the weather improved and we had superb blue skies and a very bright full moon emerging as night fell to brighten our dancing along with Treacle Eater Clog http://www.treacleeaterclog.org.uk/Welcome.html

Great joining in by about 30 members of the public for Dorset 4 Hand Reel..

 

Don't know what our foreign visitors made of it but they will have lots to write on their postcards.

 1.5 hours of shared dancing - with just a short break for some delicious home cooked goodies - thanks TEC. Our display was then capped with Weymouth Fireworks display and then for a few of us stalwarts it was further capped with a display of fine beverages from JD Wetherspoon.

Great display! Finishing off a wonderful evening of dance by FD and Treacle Eater Clog and the beneral public in a mass Dorset  4 Hand reel!. An amazing moonlit evening.

Just keep writin g in this until I work out how to link it to the http://fd.upwey.morris.tripod.com site and get others contributing.......

The story so far: Festus Derriman Morris Side wanted to contact and recruit from a wider group of people. 'Tripod' provided a website forum for this to happen and http://fd.upwey.morris.tripod.com was created. Festus then got bitten by the www bug and opened an email fd.upwey.morris@hotmail.com and then a Facebook! which is gleaning a few friends.
